No, yours can't look like this. I'm Mike, the web guy at Speedgoat, and this is my own, personal Asylum OCD 29er, just finished and ready to ride. This is actually an '05 frame that showed up last December and had been mistakenly powdercoated in pearl white, which we don't offer. Oops. Anyway, I was looking to step up from the Blur to an Asylum, and I liked the white so I grabbed it. Yoink.

Anyway, after sitting on the frame for a few months I realized that riding season was on its way and I'd better get my ass in gear. It's been built up with a full Shimano XTR kit, including hydraulic discs and Dual Control shifters. The wheelset is Genuine George; pewter Chris King ISO hubs laced to Bontrager Mustang rims, and shod in sticky Bontrager Jones XR tires. The fork, below that pewter King headset, is an '06 Rockshox Reba with the PopLoc remote. It's set up for 80mm travel in the photo, but Dan's already converted it to 100mm for me. Stem and seatpost are Thomson, of course, and the bars are oversized Easton Monkeylite risers. The saddle is Selle Italia's lightweight SLR. That bottle cage? It's one of those sweet King Cage stainless jobs. Nice.

Finally, I did some custom work like the silver-grey panel, custom decal work on the Progressive Fifth Element shock, and the old Asylum crazy-guy headbadge. Check out the detail photo.
