IO322: Configurable FPGA I/O Module

Configurable FPGA I/O module with Spartan 6 FPGA, analog and digital I/O, multi-gigabit transceivers, and Simulink driver blocks

Flexible and cost-effective configurable FPGA I/O module with your preferred set and channel count of FPGA code modules. Configurable at any time with the configuration implementation (CI) files provided by Speedgoat.

Selectable FPGA code module functionalities covered include PWM generation and capture, encoder measurement and simulation, high speed protocols including SPI, I2C, and UART (RS422/RS485), Cam and Crank measurement and simulation, and triggering and synchronization support. Spare digital I/O line can be used for general purpose digital on/off requirements.

Delivery of each configurable FPGA I/O module also includes a cable and terminal board for loopback testing and to quickly connect with your hardware. The I/O pin mapping for your selection of FPGA code modules is provided together with your custom configuration implementation file, and delivery of each FPGA code module includes Simulink driver blocks with configurable dialog fields and Simulink test models.

Analog I/O
 
Analog inputs 32/16 x 16-bit single-ended/differential analog inputs, provided by 4 x ADC converters each supporting 8/4 channels. Single-ended/differential operation is individually selectable per ADC converter. Simultaneous acquisition frequencies of 1MSPS are possible when using a single ADC channel per converter. When using 8 x ADC channels per converter, acquisition frequency is up to 125KSPS. Input voltage ranges are ±24.576V, ±20.48V, ±10.24V, ±5.12V, ±2.56V, ±1.28V and ±0.64V, software selectable per channel.
Analog outputs 8 x 16-bit simultaneous updating analog outputs with a voltage range of ±10V. Frequencies per channel up to 100 KSPS are possible. Each analog output channel can drive a load with maximum load current of ±1mA and a capacitance of 1000pF.
