EnDat

 

This code module provides support for EnDat 2.1 and EnDat 2.2:

  • Master functionality: This allows an EnDat device, e.g. a linear encoder, to be measured.
  • Encoder support: The encoder allows an EnDat device, e.g. a rotary encoder, to be emulated.
  • Sniffer support: This allows the monitoring of communications between a EnDat master and slave (device), e.g. a rotary encoder or linear position sensor.

Note: This code module is EnDat 2.2 compatible, even though it only uses EnDat 2.1 commands (subset of the EnDat 2.2 functionality). If particular EnDat 2.2 functionality is required, Speedgoat can provide this upon request.
