Test control algorithms running on TI Launchpad Development Kits with Simulink® and Speedgoat

The Speedgoat HIL Launchpad Development Kit provides a ready-to-use interface between the Speedgoat real-time test system and the Texas Instruments (TI) Launchpad Development Kit. This enables you to design and test control algorithms running on the Texas Instrument C2000 real-time microcontrollers. This eliminates the need to design your own interface and control hardware, allowing you to focus solely on your code development.

Design, test and validate your control algorithms for power electronic and digital closed- loop controls using the Simulink® Real-Time™ workflow in combination with a Speedgoat test system and the Launchpad Development Kit, in order to accelerate the development and deployment of your own controllers. The HIL Launchpad Development Kit comes with various reference examples to help you get started with hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) testing across different power electronic applications, including testing of controllers for solar inverters, induction motors, motors, and various converters, all with just a few clicks.

Furthermore, the Launchpad Development Kit offers convenient access to a variety of interfaces and both digital and analog signals, significantly augmenting the capabilities for testing your control algorithm.

The kit seamlessly operates with various I/O modules – including IO334 and IO3XX- 21 I/O modules – supporting fast PWM generation and capture, as well as encoder measurement and simulation. It also includes CAN support via Speedgoat CAN I/O modules.
