Use Speedgoat real-time solutions to implement the Ethernet POWERLINK protocol connectivity with MATLAB & Simulink. With the Simulink Real-Time workflow and Speedgoat hardware, you can use a wide range of industrial protocols like Ethernet POWERLINK Controlled Node with your real-time application. Speedgoat products provide seamless integration of POWERLINK Controlled Node with the MathWorks product family (e.g. MATLAB, Simulink, Simulink Test and Simulink Real-Time).

The ideal solution to interface Simulink with motor servo drives, power controllers, Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and other industrial equipment using the POWERLINK communication protocol. Typically used for hardware in-the-loop simulation using the Ethernet POWERLINK Controlled Node.

Versatile support for POWERLINK Controlled Node with the IO758 module. All solutions come with Simulink driver blocks.

Ethernet POWERLINK for Simulink

About Ethernet POWERLINK

Ethernet POWERLINK is a deterministic real-time protocol for standard Ethernet. It extends Ethernet with mechanisms to transfer data with predictable timing and precise synchronisation, meeting the typical timing demands for high-performance automation and real-time control applications. Implementation cycle times can reach a few microseconds with the scheduling of the basic cycle for all Controlled Nodes being managed by the Managing Node. It is an open protocol managed by the Ethernet POWERLINK Standardization Group (EPSG).
