Learn how to test your real hardware and controllers in simulated conditions before doing expensive tests in the final product using hardware-in-the-loop (HIL) simulation. With this demo kit you will learn both about hardware-in-the-loop, embedded programming and DC motor control. Having designed your controller using Model-Based Design, you will deploy your Simulink model in a Texas Instrument microcontroller. Afterwards, you will test your TI microcontroller under typical operating conditions using hardware-in-the-loop. The real-time target machine will simulate a Simscape™ brushless DC motor with encoders and sensors in real-time with a sampling rate of a few microseconds.
