IO323: Configurable FPGA I/O Module

Configurable FPGA I/O module with Spartan 6 FPGA, analog and digital I/O, multi-gigabit transceivers, and Simulink driver blocks

This I/O module offers flexible functionality, reconfigurable at any time with functionality from our FPGA code modules portfolio.

Achieve signal frequencies of 5-150 MHz depending on selected functionality and cabling.

Digital I/O

  • 48 x ESD protected front TTL I/O lines with pull-resistors. Voltage levels of 3.3V, 5V, or ground, and input/output direction are software configurable by I/O line
  • 64 x rear LCMOS I/O lines to connect with IO3XX rear plug-ins for signal conditioning, or access directly
  • 3 x rear multi-gigabit transceivers (MGTs), to exchange data with other FPGA-based I/O modules

Analog I/O

  • 32/16 x 16-bit single-ended/differential analog inputs, provided by 4 A/D converters each supporting 8/4 channels. Single-ended/differential operation is individually selectable per ADC. Simultaneous acquisition frequencies of 1 MSPS are possible when using a single A/D channel per converter. When using 8 ADC channels per converter, acquisition frequency is up to 125KSPS. Input voltage ranges are ±24.576V, ±20.48V, ±10.24V, ±5.12V, ±2.56V, ±1.28V and ±0.64V, software selectable by channel.
  • 8 x 16-bit simultaneously updating analog outputs with a voltage range of ±10V. Frequencies up to 100 KSPS per channel are possible. Each analog output channel can drive a load with a maximum current of ±1 mA and a capacitance of 1000 pF.

Analog I/O
