IO333-SFP: Simulink-programmable FPGA I/O Module

Simulink-programmable FPGA I/O module with Xilinx Kintex-7 and selectable I/O options, with Simulink driver blocks

The IO333-SFP is a FPGA I/O module capable of low-latency connectivity and high-frequency, closed-loop sample times.

The I/O module features a high-speed memory, two SFP+ cages, four multi-gigabit transceivers (MGT), a PCIe interface and a FPGA chip with either 325k or 410k logic cells. Additional rear plug-ins determine the digital I/O functionality available. 

This I/O module is available exclusively as a Simulink-programmable FPGA.

Plug-In Concept
   
   

For installation into the Performance real-time target machine the IO333 FPGA I/O module is mounted on an XMC to PCIe carrier together with the optional front plug-in (e.g. IO33X-2). The optional rear I/O signal conditioning plug-in (e.g. IO3XX-21) is mounted on another PMC to PCI or PMC to PCIe carrier in the PCI/PCIe slot next to the IO333. The two modules are linked through a ribbon cable at the rear.

The IO333 can be installed into all Speedgoat real-time target machines. However, rear I/O lines (64 single-ended digital / 32 LVDS) are only accessible with the Performance real-time target machine. Cables and terminal boards for rear I/Os are included in delivery.

The I/O lines of the front plug-in modules are always accessible, for all target machines.
